It's about time we had a decent popstar called Gethin and the same can also be said for someone with the name Catrin so it's TWO-FOR-ONE with Dusky Grey, who this week build on the momentum of debut single 'Told Me' by releasing 'Call Me Over'.
But what is 'Call Me Over'?
Well it's funny you should ask, we've got a press release right here that may answer some of your questions.
- It's a song that's out tomorrow via all good 'DSP's.
- It sounds a bit like a cross between AlunaGeorge and Clean Bandit, which feels like a good place to be in 2017, but there's also something pleasingly raw and underproduced about the whole thing that makes you think "oh that's a nice break from the ludicrously polished pop that has gotten to be a little bit out of control".
- It's — and this is a quote from Catrin we're copying and pasting — "basically about acknowledging that someone is bad for you and taking the necessary steps to rid yourself of who you feel may be toxic. And with that finding the people who become your support system".
You'll surely find a connection with the song's themes, for instance just this month we felt our energy supplier was overcharging us for gas and electricity and having moved to a new company a weight has certainly been lifted.
Anyway it's all rather splendid so there you go.
